Our wine recommendations

We have selected these wines especially for the Weekend Chef menu. The white wines go with the starters, and the red wines have been selected with the main course in mind. You can also choose just one wine – we have taken this into consideration as well.

Place your order by 10 am on Monday at www.bottlescouts.com, and we will deliver the wines to your doorstep by the end of the week.

White wines

2018 Bockel Pinot Gris 15.90 €
Domaine Boeckel, Alsace, France
A classic Alsace Pinot Gris with a rich, fruity taste and spicy tones. A perfectly versatile wine to accompany various dishes.

2018 Riesling Erstes

Peter Jakob Kühn, Rheingau, Germany
The beautiful golden yellow colour promises a richness which can be sensed in the aroma and nose of the wine. There are also plenty of mineral tones and ripe citrus. The 18-month oak-maturation process lends a round richness to the wine that supports many flavours.

Weingut Jülg, Pfalz, Germany
A silky, supple Pinot Noir, with tones of ripe raspberry, from the southern part of the Pinot Noir Pfalz region, just north of the Alsace wine region in France. Oak fermentation lends a long, silky, slightly smoky flavour to the wine.
2016 Joel Gott Oregon Pinot Noir 32.80 €
Joel Gott, Oregon – United States
A gorgeous, elegant, grape-typical Pinot Noir from the cool coastal region of Willamette Valley in Oregon. A silky burgundy-type wine with tones of ripe red berries and a slightly smoky flavour.

Vieira de Sousa, Douro, Portugal
A sweet, mellow, spicy port wine with tones of ripe cherry and blueberry. This port is made from grapes from the vineyards owned by Vieira de Sousa in the traditional style, by treading the grapes in lagares. The prime-quality vineyards and careful winemaking of Vieira de Sousa lend a fruity richness to the wine.
